relief!

Man does it feel good to be finished exams... I must say this exam periods been really tough for some reason. Its those pointless economics courses! I feel sorry for all the economics majors out there. I actually met a girl in one of my classes and she said she was going to get a PhD in Eco. I told her she was crazy... Eco isn't really rocket science if you ask me. I think one of my profs summed up the whole Eco subject nicely:

- The role of an economist is to predict the behavior of people and firms:
1) People - rational, self interested (i.e. greedy), utility maximizing
2) Firms - rational, profit maximizing
That's seriously all you need to know for Economics. This explains how the whole world works. Anyhow... I hate economics so unbelievably much.

So what's up with me? This summer's gonna be really packed. Doing CCSA softball, ultimate frisbee, dragonboat, summer school at UT Scarb, finishing off my CSC and going to Europe. Man...
This years dragonboat is so kick butt. Its mega relaxed and there's so many cool people on it. Josh and I make fun of all the crappy paddlers on the team though. There's these great big huge guys that seriously paddle like little gir...umm i mean... oh never mind. I mean these guys look fit... anyhow...
Any why am I doing summer school at UT scarb? Man I sure dodged the bullet for MGT337. Someone was telling me about how stinking impossible the course is... ahaha suckas! I get to drive out to the zoo once a week to take the other half of MGT337 to compliment the half I took in Singapore. Anyone want to go to the zoo with me this summer? I haven't been there in a while. The zoo's seriously awesome... scream and wake up all those lazy sleeping animals. As for my CSC... I think I enrolled 3 years ago when I was working for BMO. They would've paid for it had I finished it while I was working there. Man... I was just too busy losing money on the stock market... The stock market was insane back in 2001... As for CCSA softball... I'm playing for Harbs. Still not too sure if it was the right decision, but I know God always makes the best out of bad decisions. I'm seriously expecting the worst for this season. But I'm glad that I get to play with my bro, justin lau, and josh... My heart is set on governing... for some reason I really like speaking infront of people... making'em laugh... or tell them amazing facts and information. I guess you can get a glimpse of that on my blog... But if any of this group work at UofT is any indication of my leadership skills... I'm in big trouble... Seriously... i've had to work with so many dumb people. I haven't quite figured out how to deal with those kinds of people. What kills me is that its these same people who get the big jobs at PWC, etc... While the smarter ones I work with struggle to find work... I sure don't want to work with these dumb people in the work place... man sorry to be so harsh...

As for Europe... I'm heading to London and France May 4th-16th. My brother just told me its the 60th aniversary of Veterens Day so a lot of people are also headed up. I think it'd be a great idea to visit Normandy, France and honor those who fought for our freedom. I signed up for a Intro to Canadian History this summer as well.
But yeah... I'm not sure if anyone I met from Singapore is gonna be back in the UK... If you are give me a shout and we can have some tea or something.

hmmm what else... I've been thinking a lot about friendships and friends lately. Either I have some mental problems... or I'm just becoming really picky who I consider a close friend. I guess as you get older you just have less and less time. And I wonder who's gonna be those "lifetime friends"... I want to focus my time on them and just forget about everyone else... I guess I'm sensitive like that...Anyhow... I wonder if anyone else my age really cares about this kind of stuff... Because I never used to think about this crap ever before...

phew! I better get to sleep now so I can wake up for church... Its been a loooonnnnggg time. But I may as well leave u with some cool random photos... I guess i'll update with some health stuff on my next post... which'll be in EUROPE babyyy.... aww yeah! hahaha... Its gonna be an awesome summer of blogging... so keep coming back.

Supposedly the most expensive Casino ever built. It cost over $3.4 billion USD to build. That's insane!
